Application Deadlines
Completed applications should be received 3 months prior to the intended enrollment date to accommodate necessary processing time and the issuance of the required Form I-20. If you need help or have special circumstances please email this office at intladmin@joe-yan.net. Deadlines are posted to help insure that admission can be completed and immigration documents prepared for students to take to the U.S. Embassy/Consulate in the home country to apply for a student visa in a timely manner.
There are three sessions available throughout the year: Fall, Spring, and Summer.
Fall Session (Begins in August, ends in December)
Application Deadline: May 15
Application Document Deadline: June 15
Spring Session (Begins in January, ends in May)
Application Deadline: October 15
Application Document Deadline: November 15
Summer Session (Begins in May ends in July)
Application Deadline: February 15
Application Document Deadline: March 15
Receive Admission Information/Obtain Visa
After our office has received your application, required documents, and fees, you will receive an email informing you of your admission decision or request for further information within approximately 7-10 business days. Admitted students will receive an admission packet with the following:
- Acceptance letter
- Form I-20 (F1) or DS-2019 (J1) – immigration document certifying 体育菠菜大平台 admission and to apply for student visa
- Must submit financial affidavit form and bank document before we can issue you a I-20 or DS-2019 form to apply for a student visa
- Pre-Arrival Guide – information guide explaining necessary items to complete before arrival to 体育菠菜大平台
Once you receive your admission packet, please complete the following steps to obtain your student visa:
- Complete the I-901 SEVIS fee payment here: http://www.fmjfee.com/#
- Complete the DS-160 online nonimmigrant visa application form here: http://ceac.state.gov/genniv/
- Once you have completed these steps, you can sign up for your visa interview here: http://ceac.state.gov/genniv/
